#Recordable CD ROMs
3 messages in this thread
I was wondering if anybody knows what kind of business opportunities are
possible in using the new crop of recordable CD ROM systems. I'd be interested
to know what kinds of business services could be offered using this kind of
equipment.
I can imagine that there are many businesses that could, for example, simplify
their record keeping requirements by storing documents or data on CD ROM disks.
Are there any books dealing with this area or other sources I should approach.
Thanks,
Tom
Tom:
One way is simply to call the vendors of the recording systems. They'd be
delighted to give you some ideas. Archiving is one, doing prototypes and emos
for publishers is another, specialized or customized limited/small run editions
for sales promotion or training is another. There are undoubtedly a few dozen
more!

Tom,
As Rich mentioned, there are dozens of uses for CD-ROM recordable systems.
CD-ROM is the fastest growing area of computers today. If you'd like
information on purchasing a system, e-mail me your phone number or address and
I'll get some info off to you.
