#I'm back

Kevin,
It is VERY hard for me to believe that you would give away an excellent
full-featured word processor like Sprint. But you can rest easy . . . it has
found a warm and caring home. Can't send photos, but will give progress
reports from time to time . . . . Lynne
I'm happy that you are finding it useful. The only catch to the deal is if you
find that you do not want it anymore. Then pass it along the same way as you
got it free of charge. Although with Jack helping customize it you will be
keeping it I'm sure.

Kevin,
Right on about passing the favor along! Somebody sent me a check for $10
a few weeks ago, just for getting a couple of files from the Meca Forum. (He's
on Prodigy.) After much thought, I cashed it, so he wouldn't feel obligated.
But if he'd asked first, I'd have said, "pass it on."
My husband was sending VCR tapes of the BBC "Survivors" series to another
Terry Nation fan, who couldn't get the program in her PBS area. One day, a
copy of the paperback SURVIVORS arrived, and he was thrilled! He'd been
hunting all over for a copy, without success, and as far as we know, his
"benefactress" didn't even know that.
So we think the online community is a pretty nice place. And one of these
days, you may want something that is available in the states . . . . Lynne
I think that is the way everything should be handled. I don't like people who
get a great deal on something, then turn around a make money on it by selling
it to other people. I had some furniture given to me and when I met someone
who needed furniture I gave it to them with the stipulation that if they ever
got rid of it it was to be for free.
