Is there a way to have a 2090a and a 2091 coexist peacefully? I'd really like
to keep my ST506 type drive but I also need a real SCSI interface.

Paul,
Just pull the autoboot ROM from the 2090a (thus turn it into an A2090)
and it'll work just fine. You'll have to boot from the A2091 (I presume that's
not a problem) and call BindDrivers during your startup to mount the first
partition of the drive attached to the 2090a. Make sure you have an Expansion
drawer in your SYS: partition on bootup and that it's got the 2 files hddisk
and hddisk.info in it.
As I said in an earlier message…I've got an A2090 and an A2091 living
quite peacefully in an A2000.

Actually, I still have a 2090 I could use. But the next message indicates I
can maintain my autoboot which would be great. I'll try both if necessary.

Paul, I am currently running a 2090a and a 2091 in my Amiga 2000 with no
problems. I boot from the 40 meg hard drive on the 2090a. I basically left my
2090a configuration alone and added the 2091 to my system. I used the utility
HDTOOLBOX to partition my hard drive on the 2091. Hope this helps.

indicated I would lose my autoboot. Thanks for the info.
