Is there a shareware or freeware can convert scanned graphics (gif, pcx, tif) to .dxf files?

I believe you'll find what you are looking for in the GRAPHDEV forum, just browse all the libraries with DXF as a keyword. I think there's a file called GIF2DXF or something there. Good luck -Martin Alix

I am sorry but I can not find any named gif2dxf. Can you give me other clues? Thanks. Min Tang

It's called GIFDXF.ZIP in DL3. (CompuServe can only handle six-character filenames.) – Jack

I don't know of a GIF – PCX files converter. There is a utility in the GO ACAD forum which converts HPGL -> DXF, and there is another utility which can convert a GIF -> HPGL (which I don't think is in the ACAD forum, more likely in the GO PICS area. I'm hoping that someone will come up with the right names for my recommendations, or at least give you a single converter you might try. Good luck!

I've used HiJack with some mixed result on different versions of GIF files….
