Thanks for the tip on FixHunk Don. I downloaded it yesterday and tried it out on a copy of StarTerm. There don't seem to be any instruction or document files in FIXHUN.ARC so I'm not 100% sure I used it properly. I de-arc'd it into a file FixHunk, and then executed FixHunk StarTerm. It gave me a response as though it were proceeding normally, then it finished up with a message of non-condolance telling me something about an invalid data file or something. I didn't know what else to try, so I didn't. In the mean time, the NoExpanMem method I am using is not dependent upon the design of the program being sheltered from the expansion memory, and it seems to work ok. I'd be interested to know if I did something wrong though.

Rene, Nope, it sounds like you did it right. The only doc I know of for FixHunk is in the file description … such as it is in the DL. Don

Thanks Don. I'll try FixHunk out on some other programs. So far, I've tried it on StarTerm and on Keyboard Kadet and it gave an "invalid file" error on StarTerm and a failure to open error on the latter. I'm sure glad the NoExpanMem routine works!
