#Targa + Setup Troubles

I'm having trouble installing my new Targa +64 on my Gateway 2000 486/66 VESA
local bus system using an ATI Ultra Pro local bus video card for normal VGA
display. The installation software (9-22-92 version) seems to recognize the
Targa card's presence and seems to generate no error conditions. But I haven't
been able to see any video whatsoever under TDEMO using either the RGB cables
or the composite RCA plug. (I eventually hope to use S-video, but the cables
are too short to reach my equipment…I'm hoping to find some S-video
connectors to enable me to extend the cords.)
I'm using the 220 SW1 i/o address and IRQ 10. I've excluded D000-DFFF in my
QEMM386 configuration setup.
I tried connecting the RGB and Black BNC connectors to the Red, Green, Blue,
and H/Sync BNC inputs on my Nanao Flexscan F550i monitor, but it doesn't seem
to sense the presence of any BNC video signal (the monitor stays black and
sends a warning beep).
Any ideas what I could do to get the Targa +64 to work with this system? (It
also contains a Pro Audio Spectrum 16 bit card, CD-ROM drive, and 90mb
Bernoulli insider–all of which still work.)

Have you excluded the d000-dfff segment for the targa board.
Try a memory manager. Qemm or 386 max. I had the same
prob. & had to exclude my cd-rom when I need the targa.

Yes, I excluded D000-DFFF with QEMM. I finally found out that the Targa+ works
via the S-video cables in my current setup (my preferred i/o mode anyway).
I'll continue to putter around seeking a solution for RGB mode functionality as
well (it's probably some arcane setup procedure with my Nanao monitor).
