What are the most current utilities for viewing gif files on compuserve, and are there any that support AGA coming out in the near future? A. Pagan

Angel, ViewTek 1.04 shows GIFs directly and fully supports AGA. See the other threads in this forum.

ViewTek 1.04 requires 2.0 to run, correct? <Dave>

Are there any *good* gif viewers that can handle 1.31. (hamgif is slow and sloppy)? <Dave>

Dave, The only good Gif viewer I've seen is ViewTek. You can use HamLab to convert GIF to IFF; that does a good job and works under 1.3. Best bet, though, is to upgrade your Amiga to AmigaDOS 2.1. You won't regret it.

Angel: ViewTek available here on CIS will display GIFs on any Amiga and ifa available, will use AGA for more colors. Besides GIF's, it will also display IFF/ILBM and JPEG images. -Jonathan
