#pk-232 term
3 messages in this thread
Howdy Ben, Hope you are well. After taing a computing break, am back at the
keyboard. Lou is messing around with packet, it's neat to see fresh computer
emthusism like the old days in a person new to computer wizardry!
Anyway, wonder if you ever listen to 14.233 anymore. Also, did I see a BBS add
in 73 for a pk-232 term prog ? If so, I'd like more info please. I'm
interested in something easier for Lou, something that you could use with your
"eyes closed"… Thanks for any info.

Hi, Kathy…
I'm well. Very well, in fact – lost a bunch of weight which is nice. I
listen to 14.233 and 14.230. I don't get on there because I don't like
being treated like a company, when in fact underneath it all there is a
person here. I mentioned it a few times, made no difference so I quit
talking altogether. But I stll listen – and I'm still interested.
Yes, you saw an ad for a packet program. It's a very nice program, but
leans more towards compelxity than simplicity. Bells and whistles all over
the place. It can be used simply, but then you don't get a lot of the
benefits. Also, setting it up can be a little bit hard because of the
differences in terminal units. I wouldn't call it an eyes closed product –
but still think it's something any Amiga packet user should have.
