Is it possible to do Video Post rendering from the Command Line in 3-D Studio 2.0 or 2.01a? If not, can this feature be added soon? We NEED it BADLY! Thanks.

Marion: No, you cannot do Video Post from the command line in 3D Studio! Sorry! Greg Pyros

If you were to add it, a simple syntax for it would be "/Vfile" where "file" is the name of a Video Post (".VP") file. Might be a nice addition for an interim release (2.02 or maybe even 2.1).

Marion, that's not supported at the moment, but FWIW, I think it made the wishlist. As a possible workaround try doing your animations in batch mode and save the .tgas and then do the effects to the .tga files rather than to the KF-scene. This might help a bit – I've done this and it can be quite fast since much of the video post operation is then disk access (a fast disk helps here).
