This is a 2.0 utility that will create real icons from the "fake" icons
that WB 2.0 displays when there is no icons and you choose "Show all
files" by icon. By Michael Sinz
I'm a little puzzled why someone from Commodore would write this program,
since you can get real icons by dropping the fake ones into IconEd and
saving them. Oh well, at least it's a lot smaller than IconEd 🙂

Have you been able to get the silly thing to work? I've tried
everything I can think of, and MakeIcons doesn't seem to do anything to any
of the icons.

It seems that I'm not the only person who can't seem to get it to work.
Could you perhaps post a short description on how you use it? Maybe I'm
just not clicking on things in the right order? Or am I supposed to use it
from the CLI? (I think I've tried that!)

Click on the fake icon you want to make real then look in that directory.

Okay, so maybe I need a longer explanation of MakeReal. Your previous
explanation makes me think that I only have t click once on the 'fake' icon
and it will be made 'real'? Then where is MakeReal?!? I've tried every
combination of clicks that I can think of, and nothing works!

I have the same results as you, nada… The only visible effect when I
run it is the disk access when it's loaded.
