#Multimedia kit

Just browsing and thought that I'd reply to the Pro Audio kit with some
potential warnings. Works fine, but uses two interrupts. Add interrupt 15 for
the CD for a total of three. This will reek havoc with hand scanners and some
tape backups. Running on a Compaq 386/33m I have discovered that according to
Compaq and Maynard that this combination will not allow backups on the
maynstream 150 unless you remove the sound board prior to backup. Needless to
say this is unacceptable. Logitec tells me how to set up the board so the
scanner will work. Just be prepared for a few problems. They may be worked
out now, as my system is a year old.
Thanks for the warning Ed. I may be ok in this case because the tape drive is
a Colorado that runs off the floppy controller so it does not use an extra
interrupt. I do have a network card and it must be compatible with that.

I don't know what you are refering to re: the PAS 16 MM Kit using so many
interrupts. I am running the system now using only one! Yes, you can set up
the system to use more if you wish different settings for DOS and Windows, but
this is unnecessary.
