#Toshiba 3401 for $399 !!

CD ROM Direct is selling the Tosh. 3401 internal drive for $399. External $499. Repackaged Toshiba controller, cable, and driver kit is an extra $100. 1-800-332-2404.

Is this a "Toshiba" 3401 or an OEM package like Procom's 3401?

I do not know. I did not order from them yet. I have just seen them referred to several times by other on other forums.

I called them to check on it and they confirmed the price. They sounded honest, enthusiastic and reasonably knowledgeable. They are a startup, though, and don't take credit cards. They only ship COD which is a $29 charge. They also offer the PAS-16 at $189 as well as disks/bundles. Nill
