# Sound Card for Mits
3 messages in this thread
There has been a lot of discussion about sound cards that are compatible with
the Mitsumi LU005S. What are the specs on your sound card? Why is this card
particularly compatible with the LU005S? Does the card have a data interface
for the CD-ROM or do you use the interface card from Mitsumi? Do you sell the
drive and sound card together? Martin
Dear Martin, Aztech is the first company who designed a CD-ROM interface for
Mitsumi LU005S. The model number is Galaxy NX Pro (M). The same card has two
different versions. A version for Panasonic 521B and M version is for Mitsumi
LU005S. Right now it is in a such a big demand, I am shipping them out as they
come in!..THe card drives the CD-ROM right out of the 40 pin port which is
designed to support Mitsumi. As overall, Galaxy NX Pro is the best sound card
available for the consumer. While I do like to do business with everyone :-),
it doesn't matter where you get it from but get the mentioned card to have a
good product!..TTYL

The Media Concept 2.0 sound card came with a special cable (rather "and plug"
to replace the Mitsumi one) to connect the audio from the Mitsumi in my case.
The Mitsumi card is used as the controller. The sound card is basic, but came
with speakers and microphone. It retails for the equivalent of $140 here in the
UK, pretty cheap.
