#Medical Dictionary?

I am looking for a medical dictionary in CD-ROM for a friend wgho is a medical
student and disabled. Any ideas of what is available and/or where I might
search.

They carry an extensive collection of medical CD-ROM discs, including the
Compact Cambridge line. I don't see any medical dictionaries per se in their
current catalog, but they do have the Oxford Textbook of Medicine ($495), the
PDR ($575, $895 with the Merck Manual), a variety of medical journals, and
MedLine on disc.

There are myriad discs on medicine, but most tendto be either bibliographic
databases or collections of jounal articles etc.
Here are 4 inexpensive titles which _may_ contain a dictionary function:
The Family Doctor, pub by Creative Multimedia Corp., 503/241-4351
Vital Signs, pub. by Texas Caviar, 512/346-7887
Mayo Clinic Family Health book, 408/372-9260
Scientific American Medicine (CONSULT), 212/754-0801
The first three are commonly available in retail outlets at prices below $100.

At well over 300 dollars, I would not think of Sci Am Medicine as 'inexpensive'
I guess I was thinking of $300 as inexpensive compared to $600-1000+ for some
of the Medline and other specialized products.
