I just bought a Toshiba TXM 200 ms access, new model. Since I already have an
SCSI ultrastor card, I only bought the toshiba, not the SCSI card. But if my
SCSI recoginze it, it does not give it a drive letter and it seems that I can't
have access to it. Before, I always had an MSCDEX driver to run a CD ROM (with
previous machines) I guess the problem comes from that?!? Do you know where I
can get it? Is there a Toshiba forum? Thanks for your help! >>Christian<<
Christian,
As for help in the CDROM forum (Go CDROM). Specify a few more details, too ie.
are you talking about native DOS/Windows or the OS/2 2.1 beta.

Yes, you do need an extra driver in order to access the CD Rom drive. Call
Ultrastor or I believe Corel sells SCSI drivers for most SCSI cards and CD ROM
drives. Call to make sure whatever you buy will work with your combination!
