I have a Toshiba model TXM 3301E1 CD-ROM player, and a Corel driver card. I would much prefer to attach the Toshiba to my Adaptec 1740, however. Anybody know how I can do that? =mlw

Mark… Our CorelSCSI device drivers will support ASPI driven cards, such as the Adaptec 1740, although I should point out that the 1740 is not yet certified with our drivers. (In other words, it would probably work fine, but that's not gauranteed yet…) You might actually already have the drivers necessary to try this; do your install disks have CorelDRIVER or CorelSCSI written on them? If you have the CorelSCSI drivers, then all you'd need to do is make sure the ASPI manager for the 1740 is loading, REM out our ASPILS_D.SYS line in your CONFIG.SYS file, and connect the CD-ROM to the 1740. Let me know how it goes! Yours, Bryan

I have a Toshiba XM3301b internal running off of an Adaptec 1740 EISA controller. I use the Corel SCSI drivers, and it works fine.
