FYI, I dont think thats a good price.
I've just ordered a Toshiba 3401 from CDROM Direct ( 1 800 332 2404)
for $399 + $29 COD.
The only drawback is the dont accept credit cards, only COD.

Rainer, please keep up posted on your transaction(s) with CDROM Direct. I'm
interested in them as that's by far the best price I've found on the Tosh, but
I hate to buy mail order other than by credit card.
