I am interested in getting the specifications on the Sony CD 31A that I have
seen advertised for prices as low as $239 mail order.
Is there a file I should look for on Compuserve that Might allow me to find the
correct information? Is there a BBS that I can call, or a FAX number that I
can send for information via, or even a fax-information service that I can call
up?

Is that correct? I tried calling it just now, and it sounded like someone
answered. I'm calling at 11:10 my time, so it is probably 2am in the west
coast of the USA. I'm not going to try to get the bbs there any more, unless I
am sure that I'm calling the right number.

Sorry about that — here's another number that I have for SONY — it's
1-408-955-5107 — I just called it and got a modem to send its tones to me (but
I did this by manual dialing and didn't try to connect).
