I've posted this question to MediaVision without a response. My question is
simple I thought. Can you help me. I have a PAS-16 card as my scsi interface
connected to a texel internal drive. Can I use Kodak photo CD's. I phoned Kodak
here in Toronto and the person did not know and suggested I call the
manufacturer. Has anyone used this configuration (ps I know the Texel does not
support multi-session but for what I wwant it for, I don't believe I care if
its single-session or multi-session
Dale Hagen asked if the internal Texel can use Photo CD's.
Dale, I'm obviously not Paul McAfee and hope neither you nor he mind me jumping
in here. But since I live just down the pike from you (Hamilton) I thought I
might be able to help.
Kodak's January Compatability Guide lists the DM3024 (internal) as a single
session drive. It was tested with a Trantor controller though and I don't know
what effect a controller or device driver software would have.
At any rate it is officially listed as a single session drive. Hope that helps.
Cheers!
