Here's a brief description of the Retina from the Briwall ad in the latest DeskTop VideoWorld (There was also an ad on p.38) "The MacroSystemUS Retina board provides true 24-bit graphics at an unheard of price. Unlike other display devices, the Retina is compatible with the A2,3,4000 and works with both the 1084 and Vga-style monitors. Supports most software, including WORKBENCH, AdPRO, ProPage, ProWrite" (and ImageFX, Pagestream etc.) I spoke to the Guy at MacroSystemUS (313-263-0095)- and HE LOVES IT! (hahaha)- no seriously – sounds neat – Retail only 600 Installs in any 100 pin slot – Compatible with Toaster/Opal It will be shown at World of Commodore/Amiga this week at "Computer Basics" Anyway the guy said he uploaded an Info file on Bix and UseNet?- I haven't seen that yet. mike

The WorkBench, and any program that can be launched from Workbench, can be displayed on a bigger monitor, with higher resolution, in up to I think 256 colors, and it can still be used for a true 24 bit display. – mike
