#3DS to 35mm Slide?

Hi,
I'm bidding on a project for a local old time movie theatre restoration. I'm
sugesting that the powers that be use my 3D services to render photo realistic
interior views of the fully restoreed theatre from their architecual drawings.
Can someone recomend where I should look for having the targa files I'll
generate made into 35mm slides and how much I should expect to pay for this
kind of service? Thanks in advance!

Can't recommend a place since I don't know where your are, but in Vancouver,
B.C. slides can be made for as little as $5.00 Canadian each, if time not a
factor; otherwise usually around $8 to $10, with another couple of bucks for a
glass mount. Hope this helps.

I used to work for an A/V company and we did a lot of slide work. In fact I
had just started getting them used to using 3DS for making more interesting
backgrounds when they laid me off last year, (so I took my 3DSR3 and went
home<g>.)
What we found worked best was to render to a TIFF file. We started with a
standard slide resolution of 2250 x 1500. Worked fine but it made huge files
when we went to image over the network to the Matrix QCR-Z camera via Photoshop
and SuperPrint. So we tried 1125 X 750. It made the files more managable in
size all around from storing to imaging, AND you had to look very hard to find
any difference in image quality. Part of this may be due to SuperPrint and how
it creates the Super Metafile for imaging. But thats how we did it.
