Anyone know what the status is of the ARP commands? Who has the copyright
to them? I'm interested in possibly including a few of the commands with
my program. They still work better than some of the AmigaDos v2.1 counter
parts.

Arp is freely distributable and available to anyone who wishes to
download the arp archive. Distribution of the arp.library is not forbidden, as
far as I am aware since many programmers have included it in their
distributions. I would assume that would be true of the utitlities themselves,
although they would be useless without arp.library. You should check in the
arp docs for any specific qualifications which the authors have placed on
distribution. The original arp authors no longer are supporting arp, in fact I
believe the prime mover no longer works on the Amiga. Some arp utilties may be
better than those supplied with the current Amiga OS, but arp is not wholly
compatible with 2.x, so you can expect possible problems. Arp also may
interfere with other Amiga programs, as well, on 2.x systems. In general, it
is best not to develop depending upon arp, but use other more compatible
resources.
