#Amiga CIM or …?

Hi
A friend of mine uses an Amiga 4000 and would like to know if there is
some sort of a CIM software for this type of equipment (he's not yet CIS user,
but probable will become one). CIS seems to be the best place to ask such a
question, and I would appreciate your assistance! Many thanks

We do not have CIM or any HMI product for the Amiga because CompuServe has
not released the necessary software libraries for any systems except MSDOS
and MacIntosh. So those are the only systems that can have HMI software
such as the various CIM products.
We do have AutoPilot, which is more like TAPCIS, OZCIS, etc., but far
easier to use, many featured, and greatly loved. You will find a demo
version in Library 9 of AmigaVendor forum, AP.LHA. The docs, APDOCS.LHA
are still fine for getting you started, but much of the newer additions to
the program are not covered in them. (They are in the process of getting
updated at the moment, but it will take a while to complete the update.)
For getting started, they are still worth the download time. I think your
friend would love AutoPilot. I do.

Thanks Betty, will try AutoPilot. As a pilot, I'm used to use autopilots
anyway…
