Why is Amiga video output poorer than C64 when copied with the same VCR? Is there a way to clean up the signal? Will Genlock help?

Tony : Answer >>> You bet cha! The GENLOC ( long awaited ) will clean up the RS170 composite signal that you could feed to your VCR. When ? [I hear the crowd roar] I am told that they will be shipping in January 1987 in CAnAdA. BUT That is only what I have been told. Roy Robinson CBM cAnAdA EH?

Tony, Did you try a good shielded cable? I have recorded off my amiga several times and have had no trouble, the display is fairly good also. The only otherproblem that I could think of off hand is that the tuner is off frequency a bit. You may want to try and retune the VCR a little to see if this clears up the problem.. Otherwise could you describe the problem any better??? Hope this helps… Jack
