If I use graphics_card=VESA Compatibles and Driver=vibrant, it will probably
work. I (unfortunately) don't have another _good_ video card to use,… any
word on the availability of a _good_ driver for my card??

PMJI, have you tried one of the generic S3 modes. There should be one for the
version of the S3 used on your Stealth 24. Is this mode causing your
instability?
