Has anyone had any luck configuring a Calcomp Drawing Board II to work in
pressure mode (Wacom) with Ani Pro? I've heard its possible but I've haven't
been able to.

There have been a few folks who have said they're using Calcomp digitizers, but
I don't see anyone who has talked about Animator Pro with it. We don't have
one in Product Support so we can't tell you.
Perhaps you could also try Calcomp to see their experience with it.
