I'm thinking of playing around with writing my own flic viewer. Can someone
tell me where to find the various file formats and the specs for interfacing
with VESA drivers? Thanks!

There is a VESA toolkit along with several other VESA documents over in the
GRAPHSUP forum. They are outdated but should give you a good start. If you have
the FLI/FLC code that was published in Dr Jobb's Journal, you're 90% there.
Implementing other video modes and resolutions is pretty simple.
The stuff is right here in the Asoft forum. Last I saw it was in library 9
under the name FLIC.ZIP. In library 1 you will also find a file called
RFLIC2.ZIP which is a variation of the above.
