It is the internals, works fine, I have been meaning to make a wood frame so it
is usable (not pretty)

Okay, so Hawaii is a little further than I planned.
You should know, it does not "give your A500 the power of a 2000".
What it does give you are 4 Zorro II slots so you can use A2000
cards, 2 of those slots can be used for bridgeboard/PC card combos No
video slot, no accelerator slot. My daytime phone (7AM – 4 PM EST)

motherboard so I can fix my little beastie…
I don't know anyone with a motherboard, but you could try CopperHead
Technologies. I think I saw an ad for them in the back of Amazing or Amiga

What is wrong with your A500 ?
Well, it's dated 1985 for one… the bottom of the motherboard and
some of the chip connections look like the salt air corroded them. I
didn't start having SERIOUS problems until I installed the 2.04 rom
and a VXL*030 board, though. The computer would guru after about
20-30 min, and then not work at all until I left it alone for a few
hours. Finally, it went kaput altogether.
