Seems so. I just got a box with fifty (yes 50) AppleScript 1.0 disks for my
$4.95. I called 'em up and said "Gee, I appreciate your generosity, but that's
not what I asked for." and they were mighty confused. To their credit, they're
FedEx'ing me the right item and paying to ship back the 50 coasters, but it
seems they'd lose an awful lot of money if they did this too often 🙂

Your story takes the cake! I know they're used to dealing only with books, but
you'd think by now they'd have _some_ handle on this disk business. And, gee,
you'r so honest: you could have sold the box o' disks and reordered the 1.1
disk for a handsome profit. They might have even sent you another box. It
wouldn't help you get any closer to AS 1.1, but this computer stuff could
finally start to pay off. 🙂
