Why?
Is PowerPC pure RISC? I'm seriously considering this machine when it comes
out.

I am not sure that there is a set of agreed on features that RISC architectures
must comply with to be dubbed as pure RISC. One of the issues is for example
uniform instruction width. You can read more about RISC systems in relation
