Greg Pyros sent me this mail as an example on IPAS program's needed. This was no big task to make a simple version of this program soo I made this version Public Domain. Hope this solves the problem! ——————————- old message —————————– *Fm: Jonas Ruikis [ADESK] 73172,1351 *To: John Foust/Syndesis Corp 76004,1763 (X) << DXF and 3ds… >> how about an IPAS routine to convert a path in the keyframer into a DXF file so that you can reload it in the shaper/lofter? jonas[adesk] ————————————————————————- KEYDXF.ZIP/Bin Bytes: 14183 14-Mar-94 Title : IPAS that saves keyframer keys to DXF polyline. Keywords: IPAS KXP DXF PD 3DS Public domain IPAS that takes an object, camera or light's position keys and save them as a 3D POLYLINE in a DXF-file. The DXF file can then be loaded into 3D-Lofter as path. Note that the line between the keys will be straight as the 3D-Polyline in DXF has no spline values. << KEYDXF.ZIP/B >> Many, many thanks. The ability to bring a keyframer modified path back into the shaper/lofter has been requested many times and now… thank you.

>>Where is this IPAS? It should be in Lib 9 here on ASOFT, "KEYDXF.ZIP" is the file to look for. You could search for just "KXP" keyword, as it shouldn't be that many that has that keyword yet. If you don't find it let me know and I will upload it again. -M.E

Martin, you could've *sold* this to someone. 🙂 Like me! If you want to publish it, keep us in mind. PS, I know how to write LFT files.
