This is a bonehead question, but how does one go about installing the drivers
from NEWPLY.ZIP? Control Panel Setup wants an OEMSETUP.INF file. I put the DLLs
and DRVs into Windows/System, but how does one get WIndows to recognize them?
Doug, to properly install the MCI drivers, you should also download MCIAAP.ZIP
Not all the files for the MCI drivers are present in NEWPLA.ZIP. This will be
corrected soon, but in the meantime….just download MCIAAP and follow the
instructions.

Order the Windows Player developers Kit for the .DLL by calling 800-879-4233.
It will contain several reference manuals and sample files. Not a screensaver,
per se, but it should be enough to get you started.
Also, there are a few examples of screensaver programs that other developers
have uploaded. You might try tracking them down through the uploaders ID and
see if they have any advice.
