We're BUYING ANIMS
13 messages in this thread
We need several quality animations (5 to 10 seconds in length @ 30 frames
per second) to appear in a project we are working on. We need the actual
24 bit frames used to create the anim not an Amiga displayable version.
We will pay for the ones we use. Cyclical anims (loops) are especially
desired.
To be considered, send us an Amiga displayable version (ie something
displayable with showanim for instance) as a teaser. We will select the
ones we want and contract for the actual 24 bit-plane version.
Anims can be of any subject, show us your best stuff!
For more information, contact me at 608 273 6585 or electronically.

Do we get extra cash if the animation includes the ASDG logo? How much are
you paying? Is this for advertising material?
We are not looking to commission new work…we are looking for work which
was already done. These anims will be used in the production of video
tapes. Price to be negotiated on an individual basis. We don't care about
subject matter…we're looking for an emphasis on professionalism and
smoothness of animation.

is this Perry Kivolowitz of ASDG? I heard a rumour of a Art Dept Pro like
prg for anims coming from ya'll.Any truth to this? Thanx BTW Do you have a
minimum length Requirement for the anims ya need? I HAVE Ton's done but
most are 90 or less frames tho my entry into a recent Animation Contest was
2 and a half minutes. Please E mail me Details .Also do you Prefer Disk
Based Anims so you can go First Generation or do you prefer VideoTaped
anims? 24 Bit or HAM?Thanx

Yep, tis me. I can't comment about unannounced or even unhinted at
products. The length of anims we're looking for is 5 seconds. Send us an
Amiga displayable version as a preview (teaser). If we're interested, we'll
contract for a 24 bit version. We will be using this here brand new optical
disk recorder for our single frame work.

OOOOOOOOOHHHH, a new toy for Christmas? Optical Video disc recorder?
Pioneer? Panasonic? I saw some of these at NAB last Spring. All I could do
was drool as they are WAY out of my range. Maybe I will send an Anim to
you. Would you like a quick Anim5 format version and a few 24bit frames to
do an evaluation?
I kinda thought the HDTV disc recorder(Pioneer) was the way to go but
NTSC will have to do for mere mortals.
Do you have streaming tape? No doubt yo do, but what format could you
accept? Syquest44 carts OK?

We have streaming tape…BRU format is best for us.
We purchased the TQ3031F.
pk
BRU? OK, I haven't tried it but I assume it will work.
A TQ3031F, is that the Panasonic video WORM?
….Mark 74335,1677
Yes, it is. Designed for video.
perry = you folks might want to download Vapor paint, load the 1992.vee
file
and generate it. 90 frames, "any" format from Iff24, AMiga 4-plane B&W
and HAM-E. Might be too much trouble, on the other hand.
-ahem- excuse me, but….who's buying anims? -Scott
could it be the Infamous Sony CRV?The one that uses recordable Laser Discs?
which can be viewed on ANY LD player?5 seconds eh? are you working on 24
FPS or 30 fps? Thanx
