Jonas, How's things? I've got a bit of a problem: when I use pxp_draw_item, to draw a new/changed mesh, and Display/Geometry/Backface is active, for some strange reason all I get are the vertices! If I am in a user view and press an arrow key it redraws correctly and stay correct. If I have Seethrough active it behaves correctly. If I change a view to another type (ie. from Top to Front) it redraws correctly and is also correct if I switch back to the previous view. I'm going nuts here! I've check and quadruple checked the XFData flags and everything else I can think of, but to no avail. I have lost, oh, about 6 hours on this so far today and think maybe it's not me?!? Has ANYONE seen this? HEELLPP!! Also, has anyone had any luck making gfx_key_hit() work? It just returns a 0 to me no matter how hard I bang away on the keyboard (my keyboard is probably not too happy with me right now…). Does anyone know of a way to execute a EXP_PICK_OBJECT and return to a dialog even if the user cancels the pick? enough for now, sleep, yes, beautiful sleep… doug

Doug, << pxp_draw_item.. >> Jim, from QA, asked that you send him a compilable snippet, please. jonas[adesk]

Jonas, I'm going to try a few more things first (my snippets would be fairly dependent on alot of extra code right now). If I don't have any hair left after tonight I will cut a snippet out for your QA guys. Thanks! doug
