Does anyone know of a program which can convert an entire scene file from Imagine to Lightwave format? I know of several which will convert individual objects, but I need the motions converted as well.

InterChange will convert a hierarchy of objects between Imagine and LightWave, but it does not convert motions. I do not know of any program that can do that.

PMFJI, John, is there a text file (asside from the old one in Amigavender) that discusses all of the features of Interchange. I know that Imagine "grouped" objects can now be converted to LightWave. How about surface attributes (ie colors, reflection, defraction, filter settings, etc)? Does the Imagine 2.9 "States" information added to the object file cause any problems in the conversion? No text file – we call that "advertising literature" and we print it on paper and mail it to people, and the deeper details we print and call a "manual." 🙂 The Imagine format is IFF-like, meaning our code skips things it doesn't understand. Although Impulse has promised to send 2.9, they never have, so we haven't tested this explicitly, but then again, we've never had a tech support complaint about this in particular.

I don't think there is such software but you really shouldn't have too much problems with building the motion paths in LW.
