Well, It's me again. Tried the tip you gave me at work today, no luck! We have 2 computers with these tablets, and neither one would respond. I even tried all variations other than 1 or 3 buttons. . .nothing worked. I know these tablets are supposed to work with 3D Studio, WACOM says they will, Autodesk says they will. . .I'm hoping we didn't spend $1400 on nothing!? Help? KC

Kelly, <<wacom tablet..>> On Nov 23rd, John Schmidt said:"I don't know if this will make any difference, but WACOM just announced a new driver, ver 2.2. Downloadable from their BBS: 415-960-0236. I don't have a Wacon, but just saw this announcement , and don't know exactly what it affects." Have you got the latest drivers? jonas[adesk]

Well, I don't think so. I rememer installing the tablet and seing the driver software date as being 1991. It's probably not the latest. I can't believe WACOM wouldn't have more up-to-date drivers to send with such a new tablet. Go figure! I tried to get onto a WACOM forum, but the subject doesn't exist in CompuServe from what I can tell, so there really isn't anyone to complain to except other WACOM users! Thanks for the tip, and I'll definately try it! KC

Kelly, >>I tried to get onto a WACOM forum, but the subject doesn't exist in CompuServe… Wacom has a new section in the 'Pen Technology" forum on CIS. GO PENFOR. David

This is really strange. What about other programs? ana /krazy images

That's even stranger. . .I have NO problems in any other programs. . .It works BEAUTIFULLY!!! That's why I can't imagine that it would be the tablet, since it seems to be stable everywhere else. I have Fractal Painter, and with the pressure sensitive stylus, it feels just like being an artist again, without getting my hands and clothes dirty. The only problem is, that I miss the smell of Turpentine!? I'll keep pluggin' away at trying to find an answer, and in the meantime, keep me posted if you find out anything. I'll let you know when and if I find an answer. KC
