Carl, I missed an important step in your conversation w/ Don, could you fill me in on what he said? I'm going thru the pain of going to bureau now in lieu of dragging my system to everyone to say looky here! The Syquest 88 the most used removable HD! It's a kinda slow HD with a 200 mb newer addition to it's line. The 5.25 drive has an access time of 20 ms. Thanks, Gary

RIP is Raster Image Processing. It's when you process a targa file to the film recorder. The busier the file the longer it takes. Once RIPped you can make several exposures of that file. Files like Power Point RIP very fast. Large Targa files of photohgraphs RIP slow. I use Media Works in Jacksonville. Their on Kings Ave. 904-398-5518
