#help!3dsr3 Lapt Display

We recenlty got a 486 laptop to be able to make presentations and changes at
client sites. I didn't have any problem running R2 but I can't get R3 to run
because of a "Vesa Error" with the Vibrant drivers. The vesa drivers work fine
with R2. When in the office the laptop is on the network and I would like to
have it assist with rendering. (Yes, It is a powerful laptop.) Is there any
way we can get this to work???!!! The laptop has a CIRRUS logic video chip set.

Are you using the latest drivers from section #9 called vib3ds.zip?
Are you using drivers = vesa, graphic_card = vesa compat..?

thanks for the reply to my question about vesa drivers for the laptop. After
playing around for a while, I was finally able to get it to run under standard
VGA and 320×200 rendering mode. I was unable to get it to run in a VESA mode
for rendering. I am using the drivers that came with 3DS. Are the ones in
the Asoft library newer? Might they solve my problem?

the laters vibrant drivers are in section #9 and called vib3ds.zip.
