Please Help! I need a Printer driver file for my Smith Corona TP1 daisy wheel printer. I have tried generic and several others (such as one for tmith Corona D300) with no luck. I can't get it to underline – and cant even get the #!$?*&! thing to stop double-spacing! If a preferences printer driver file exists I will gladly buy one – or download, swap for it – whatever ! I'm crazy to use my nice daisy wheel on my nice Amiga! Thanks A BUNCH for any help! – John – ——

John, I can't help you on a driver, but on the double-spacing, does the Smith have a dip switch or some other way to set how it responds to a CR? Most printers do, and you have to set it to NOT add a LineFeed to a received CR since the printer driver outputs a CR+LF pair, you will get double spacing if the response to a CR is wrong. Don

Thanks, Don. This particular printer is REALLY WEIRD as printers go, but I never thought about the DIP switches. I will check it out! Thanks! – John –
