There is great stuff on the comedy channel right now. I think it will be on until about 8pm. It's guy watching japanese monster movies and commenting. Funniest stuff I've ever heard! Ed K

Sounds like Mystery Science Theater 2000 (3000 ?). Used to watch it all the time. BTW, have you / anybody seen a cartoon (possibly on CC – can't remember) called DUCKMAN, or something like that ? Saw it last night first time. It was crazy. BILL

<Sounds like Mystery Science Theater 2000 (3000 ?)> 3000. I watch it every night at 8 and at midnight. ——– BTW I agree very much with your views on having the user interface be user-definable. My productivity would be significantly affected if I couldn't figure out a way to do that (40-button mouse, customizable keyboard, macro recorder, voice interface, etc.) Ed K

<< I agree very much with your views on having the user interface be user-definable >> It's the only way to fly. It would have to be Windows w/ WIN32S or NT to be practical though. I've been testing an application for sometime with such an interface and it is very handy. BTW, What is this DUCKMAN cartoon series I mentioned – has ANYONE else seen this thing ? It's really wild. Bill: Duckman is Jason Alexander's (He's George from Seinfeld) baby. I saw the first one a couple of weeks ago but I wasn't that keyed up about it. Bob

Really. The one I saw last night was insanely funny – 'course I have a real bent sense of humor anyway. Oh well……Thanks. BILL

It's gotten to be my favorite show. Different topic: Have you seen a new coke comercial where mechanical ants plan a night trip to a bottle of spilled coke? Very cute. Ed K

/* It's gotten to be my favorite show. */ We need to get Godzilla into 3d mesh form! 🙂 /* Different topic: Have you seen a new coke comercial where mechanical ants plan a night trip to a bottle of spilled coke? Very cute. */ Yeah. The one I like lately is the Chips Ahoy Cookie commercial. Cute materials morphing all over the place. -dave

>> Yeah. The one I like lately is the Chips Ahoy Cookie commercial. Cute >> materials morphing all over the place. -dave I've heard that that was done by the "california raisins" claymation guys. They used a combination of stop-action animation, together with CGI to acheive that great look.
