Toaster/Edit Suite

Hey everyone!
I finally have my edit suite up and running… As soon as I get a copy of
ARexx, I'll be all set. Arexx allows my edit controller to communicate
with the Toaster… Can't wait to fire it up…

what decks do you use? Can you single frame? What state are you in? (if
its near can we visit?)

Scott, I'm using one Hi8 EVO-9800 source deck, along with two VO-9800 3/4"
SP decks. I'm mastering onto 3/4" SP. Can't single frame yet (I'm not up
to speed).

sounds nice Chris. We have some real old Sony 3/4" (with RM-400
controller() and no toaster ….yet. Would love some single frame
capabilities 🙁 since anim. format really stinks when you start talking
about minutes of animation. The sonys work great, but they like to keep
rolling; start and stop bugs em out a bit too much to do much animation
work with em. I'd like to come up this spring, when it gets a bit warmer,
and check out your system…if thats ok w you. your always welcome to
stumpworld to see ours and trade ideas (if ur ever in boston, let me know)

Scott, You're more than welcome to come and check it out. That was one of
the biggest problems I had with setting up my edit suite – there were very
few people who would take the time to share their ideas/problems/ etc…

Cool! Are you "open" on weekends? 🙂 …we are! hehehe…..It's a little
chilly for a bike ride to NH right now, but in a couple of weeks it should
be warmer AND I might have a little time…..@ end of feb?
