Hello Imagine users, I'm just getting back into IM3.0 and states. I've just converted the female humanoid into a bones object. So far, so good. Here's my question. I'm creating different poses as states to create a modern dance routine. Changing the poses in bones works great. But the states does not remember the position or angle of the parent axis. When I go to the stage editor, I have to position and angle each state as it was setup in the detail editor (which means I have to record each position and angle as I'm creating poses, and then use this information in the stage editor. Please tell me there is a way for states to remember this information, or is it in a later upgrade or am I the only one who would like this. Thanks, BP

Bruce, A state uses the parent axis as a reference axis. It's alignment or position will not be maintained throughout different states. If you need to use the parent axis for the humanoid models, add a null axis and make this null axis the parent to the humanoid form. -GreG

Add another axis and group your bones object to it with the new axis as the parent. This in theory should work. Let me know how it goes. -Sam J. Bowling
