Hilary, what size images do you need to output? –Ben …via AutoPilot

Thank you Ben. I am not sure of the exact "numbers" for pix size. My requirement is that they be in oversan, so that they fully fill the screen with no visable edges. I want to use the results (when I get any) to put into the "character generator" called MONTAGE… which works in conjunction with the Toaster – for use on videotape. So far… everything I have done ends up looking like a poster stuck on a wall… rather than a full screen title background. Best regards, Hilary.

Hilary, You can scale images using process/clip/stretch clip to any size you need; I see you found the toaster size reqwuirements. –Ben …via AutoPilot

Thanks Peter. Yesterday evening, while looking into the cracked and dirty crystal ball that Black Belt provide in lieu of missing instructional manual, the same numbers appeared… Later to-day, will put on my fiercest expression and confront ImageMaster once again. Will also utter a few magical Amiga phrases… such as "you're dead" or "you are on the way out!". All the best, Hilary.

Re: Upper lip. Way back in my days in the UK, we had special instructions of how to train the upper lip to take up the "stiff" position. If it were not for this wholesome training, perhaps I would be ending this terse little message with a roudy… "Heil Hitler!" Hilary.

Hilary, PMJI, but this comment grabbed me: >> …we had special instructions of how to train the upper lip… << Ah, ha! I always suspected that! This is a monumental revelation, which temporarily will cause the tabloids to forget O.J. Simpson and the Royal Family. Here in the USA, of course, the vast majority of training time instead goes into controlling the anal sphincter. 🙂

>> O.J. Simpson and the Royal Family. << What about OJ and the Royal Family??? <grin>

An addition to my reply to your question "What size I need". The Toaster needs a picture size of 752 by 480… so suppose this is the size I need. As I come (ex BBC) from the UK…. I try and keep a "stiff upper lip" and "Never surrender…." (Churchill) <g>. Hilary.

Peter, I couldn't pass on the oppertunity to trade up my A1200 sys for a Loaded A3000/040 sys. Great deals are out there to be had on Amiga stuff. IM R/t is quite a JOY on a Firecracker24 display board. Its an all new ballpark on this A3000:^) I'm very anxious to see what other s/w I have that will support the Firecracker24. I'm gonna add a 2G HD and a VLAB-M, then I'll really be cookin. I'll have no exscuses not to start on some BIG projects I've been wanting to do. Later, ….John
