#SMD in Net-Rendering?
9 messages in this thread
To use the Secondary-motion-data the right way I have to enter the
attribute settings in the keyframer and press OK. But in Network
Rendering that doesn't work. I enter the settings as allways but when
I view my log after the rendering has completed I see the remark :
"Out of secondary motion data….". What can I do ?
From your message, Sus, it looks like the rendering is completing itself,
right? What exactly are the rendering errors you are seeing?
-Alan
Alan,
<<From your message, Sus, it looks like the rendering is completing itself,

It is completing itself but the animation is different: the error is
"Outdated secondary motion data, Object may render incorractly…"
it's the same message i'm getting from normal rendering, but the difference is
that this one continues and does not pause and prompt.
Sus.
OK, what I meant was, in the _animation itself_, what was wrong with
it in terms of what the particle system was doing, or not doing, as
the case may be. In other words, is the object rendering
incorrectly, and if so what exactly is wrong with it?

It was doing the same things it's always doing in vapor when the
system prompts "outdated sec. motion data…may render
incorractly…", it does not render the right way. I have used the
Vapor to simulate sand but the sand "flies" in different directions
from the ones I set him. it has its own mind….

SO, you are saying that your Master machine is rendering everything properly,
but the slaves are not?
-Alan
Hi Alan.
<<SO, you are saying that your Master machine is rendering everything properly,
but the slaves are not?>>
No, I am not using slaves and masters, I'm using the same computer for
both slave and master. I send rendering jobs to the net Queue and then turning
my computer into slave mode.
Sus.
OK, but the problem concerning Net Rendering still is not clear to me.
If you render to disk, and not to the Net Queue, does the animation render
correctly?
