OK, Ive got the spec sheet for the PAR, and the FAQ pages. Before I make the purchase, I have a couple more questions: Does the PAR require an IRQ? Does the PAR require a DMA channel? Does the PAR require a memory location? How much memory does the PAR driver consume? Does the PAR receive the GPI from the bus or is it required to be hard wired into the board? Did I read correctly that G. Pyros offers a windows program that can control the PAR via MCI? Does Premiere 4.0 work with the PAR without hassle? (read: like the T2000 recompression hassle) Would the PAR perform better on my Pentium or my EISA 486DX-50? Or doesn't matter? (I would like to put the PAR in the EISA DX50 since it is a tower type server machine. Lots of drive bays etc. In my PAR lurking it seems it is best to add a fan for the PAR drives. My Pentium is a mini tower, not much room.) That's all I can think of for now… Thanks, Tom
