#AutoDOCs?
9 messages in this thread
I'm using the SAS C++ compiler version 6.51. However, it does not come with
any AutoDOCs, so I have to use the ones I got when I bought my 3000. These are
for WB 2.01 so they are not complete. {No description for ASL file requestor
args except "same as ARP"!?}
Can anyone tell me where I can find AutoDOCs for 2.1?
Also, is it possible to run WB 3.? on the 3000? I still have the softkicking
ROMS, so I could run the OS if it's compatible and I could find a SuperKick
disk image….
Thanks in advance!
Doug,
The complete Autodoc, as well as the complete 3.1 system, and just about
everything else you could want, is available on BIX in the amiga.cert area.
However, the trick is, you must have been a registered developer and had access
to that area before Commodore went away. That area and the files are still
available to those who were developers at that time.
Yes, 3.1 runs fine on a 3000 … a "SuperKick disk image" isn't want you need.
What you need is the special format file that goes into DEVS:.

WB3.1 if compatible with the 3000, just make sure that you ask for the 3000
version. WB3.1 is a bit expensive and doen't offer a great deal over 2.1, it
is nothing like difference between 2.X to 1.X.

Stew,
You seem to inply that I can BUY 3.1 for my 3000. How and where would I do
that? I'm really just intrested in the Data Type support, since programs like
Amiga Mosaic virtually require them.
Thanks for responding!

I don't know where you would get it in the US but here in Australia you
can get it from any Amiga dealer. Give one a call in the states they will more
than likely have one.

Thanks for the info….now, if I can only find an Amiga dealer. The only local
one here folded some time ago….
But, I can always check mail order!
Thanks!
