Gee, Denny – I never sent them an article back when my articles were worth sending to magazines – because the grammar and spelling in the magazine made me cringe. I even offered to proofread it for free after reading the first two or three issues – but I never heard from them. At that time, I felt that the articles had excellent content, but that they desperately needed a good editor. When nearly every paragraph has a spelling or grammatical error, it makes one wonder how careful they were about technical information, too. But I do wish them well – and they have certainly worn well on the Amiga community. —Betty

>it makes one wonder how careful they were about technical information, too While I was still a Sofware Engineer at C=, I got a copy of Amazing Tech (or whatever it was called), then called to ask if they wanted someone to review for technical content, perhaps the way AWTech Journal had a review board. I told them myself and a few other engineers would be interested in volunteering. They said yeah, they'd get back to me. I called a few times over the course of a year. It never happened. dale@iam.com http://www.iam.com Intangible Assets Manufacturing

"They said yeah, they'd get back to me. I called a few times over the course of a year. It never happened." That's one of the reason's I thought AW Tech Journal was top notch while Amazing's AC Tech was mediocre. I still have all the AW Tech Journals, at least as many as they printed anyway. Still a lot of good information in there. // John (Warp 4040 & Emplant Quadra 840) \X/ Mercury@ins.infonet.net

That's too bad, you know. The magazine had – probably still has – all the makings of a really great one, yet these little and seemingly unimportant things have kept lots of us from putting our trust in it. I haven't looked at it in a while. I think I will give it another chance, in hopes that now they have taken care of these things. —Betty
