In general it is less expensive for international customers to sell their older modem locally then buy the V34 (due to the international shipping prices). In the recent PC Mag review of V34 modem's although they only rated us as "average", remember that they tested with 1-05 code..There were very few modems released with that code. The bulk was shipped with either -08 or -12, and now we are on -15 (the magic of Flash roms). With each new code rev, the Supra just gets better and better. I have finally got my 3000 back recently and will try to finish up the Amiga Flasher. Although it was decided not to release the flasher code outside of Supra, If any of you programmer types can explain hunk files to me, it might get done sooner. I have a 300 K ascii file that contains the code that needs to be sent to the modem. I have the program pretty much done except for getting that code into the compiled program. It is too big..The hints that I have recently been working from indicate that I can take the data and put it in a hunk file and link it to the program during compilation…Unfortunately I haven't been able to get it to work correctly. Any clues can be sent to me at alex@supra.com. Please be patient with me, I have done very little programming since..oh 1985 when I was doing Pascal on Apple II's and C=64's. Alex J.
