#Final Copy to GPFAX
6 messages in this thread
Does anyone know of a way to get GPFax to convert Final Copy files to fax
format? HELP!!!
Hi Dan,
Get GPFax running, select "options" and see if "Prt Driver" and "Prt PopUp" are
activated.
With GPFax running in background (or iconified) you may get any word processor
running, select a project, and then start printing. GPFax then will redirect
all output into a FAX-file on your harddisk. GPFax will let you select a
phonenumber (or multiple phonenumbers) out of its phonebook and GPFax will also
let you setup a schedule. When the file is on your harddisk, GPFax will then
send the FAX or send it at which ever schedule you set. It's easy and it's
briliant quality. Sit back and enjoy.

Thanks, Derek! After I calmed down and actually read the manual, I found the
section that explained that. But I do appreciate you taking the time to explain
it. And you're right, GPFax is a great program!
Absolutely no problem Dan, you are very welcome. By the way, thats what E-Mail
is for.

Dan,
Can you give more info on the problem you are having in sending Final Copy
files to GPFax? Normally, if you have GPFax running with the printer option
turned on, then simply PRINTing from Final Copy will cause GPFax to intercept
and create the fax.
Pete
Got it figured out, Pete. It's amazing what you learn when you really pay
attention to what you read in the manual! Thanks anyway!
