#Pwr Down Hard Disk?

I have an Amiga 2500 with the A2091 controller/40 meg Quantum
disk. I would like to know if anyone knows of a program or how to
write one that would put the heads in park position and turn power
off to the hard disk.

I thought that all Quantum drives auto parked without additional help from
software.

Ralph,
A 'park' program isn't required…all modern drives self-park, that is,
move the heads to an unused area of the disk on power down.

SCSIUtil can do this, but I never tried it because I don't know wether the HD
autoparks the heads. But I guess it does.
